Heyyyy! My name is Andy Stedman and I am a singer songwriter based in London. I am very lucky to have the excellent Handsome Devils as my band, although I sometimes go out and play on my own because I get all the attention then, of course… My aim is pretty simple – I want to write songs that have a great tune and that talk about everyday things in a slightly different way. In between the songs, I love to banter with the rest of the band and with the crowd. After all, it is a night out and is supposed to be fun!

When I am not doing the music thing, I like to think I am a bit of an entrepreneur, and I am available to be the next Dragon on “Dragon’s Den” if any of the 5 dragons are a bit busy with stuff. Who’s my favourite dragon? I like them all for different reasons. My other love is Queens Park Rangers Football Club and my season ticket is a prized possession. No, I don’t need mental help (at least not for that, anyway!) I also love old British sitcoms (Only Fools & Horses, Brush Strokes, Blackadder Porridge), plus a few new ones too (Outnumbered, In Betweeners). I am a big film fan, my faves include “Anchorman”, “Dodgeball”, “Old School” and some serious ones too, of course. More of those in my blogs.

Although I am primarily a singer/songwriter, I will be offering up my thoughts on the world and its inhabitants as well as letting you know where you can come and see me play next. I do like some good banter, so please feel free to comment, disagree, sympathise, criticise, idolise (ok, that went a bit far then). But you know what I mean. This blog is only as good as you bunch of reprobates make it. So join in, make it your place to come and rant, pant and erm… where’s my rhyming dictionary….
